Founded in Hong Kong in 2016, UP ORIGINAL began with ready-to-wear collections rooted in everyday style.
In 2024, the brand entered Shanghai alongside its founder Rita, evolving from clothing fabrics to a broader language of “material touch.” This sensibility now extends to fragrances, vessels, and daily objects. Each texture and every scent is an act of self-soothing and sensory exploration—making life not only visible, but also touchable, breathable, and felt.

2016: UP ORIGINAL was founded, launching vol.1 lifestyle products and vol.2 loungewear series.
2017: Released women’s ready-to-wear collection vol.3; entered its first consignment boutique, Wear Practice in Taipei.
2018: Released women’s ready-to-wear collection vol.4; entered Eslite Bookstore in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.
2019: Released women’s ready-to-wear collection vol.5; launched the mini collection series.
2020: Released women’s ready-to-wear collection vol.6; entered The Mills boutique in Hong Kong.
2021: Released women’s ready-to-wear collection vol.7.
2024: Established a Shanghai company, officially repositioning as an aesthetics and lifestyle brand; launched U.O. Y1 fragrance series.
